What we collect

For paid memberships, we store your certificate name, email, registry number, enrollment date, membership tier, newsletter choice, terms acknowledgment and payment or subscription identifiers. Stripe processes checkout and payment details. Our site does not store your full card number. Hosting and payment services may also process technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to operate and secure the service.

Newsletter signup

Free newsletter signup stores your email, confirmation status, consent version and dates. A confirmation link verifies your email before you join the active mailing list. Signup protection temporarily stores a salted hash of your IP address and request counters; it does not add your IP address to analytics. Confirmation-request records are kept for up to 90 days. Unsubscribe using the link in your signup email or contact support.

Website traffic

We count page views and approximate visits on public pages using our own website storage. A random identifier in your browser tab expires after 30 minutes of inactivity; it is not an account or a cross-site identifier. We store daily totals by public page and broad referral category for up to 90 days. Temporary daily session hashes are removed after two days. Analytics do not store your email, name, IP address, full referral URL, query parameters or certificate links. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Counts are estimates and may omit visitors who block tracking.

How we use it

We use these records to operate the registry, generate your certificate, confirm payments, provide support, manage paid benefits and honor email preferences. Our email service delivers transactional messages and may record delivery or bounce status. Newsletter emails require your opt-in.

Service providers and sharing

We use Stripe for payment and billing services, Resend for automated emails, and Sites with Cloudflare-backed hosting and storage for the website and registry. Support messages are forwarded through Porkbun to our support Gmail inbox. These providers process information needed to deliver their services, which may involve processing outside your country.

Registry entries are private, not a public directory. We do not sell your personal data. We will seek your consent before sharing identifiable registry information with prospective technology partners or publishing optional founding-member recognition. We may disclose records when required by law or to address fraud and disputes.

Your choices

Use the private link in your confirmation email to access your certificate and unsubscribe from newsletter emails. Billing is managed separately through Stripe. Contact membersupport@immortalregistry.com to request access, correction or deletion of your information. We may verify your identity using your purchase email before acting.

Retention and security

Registration records remain until you request deletion, even if you stop renewing. Financial and support records may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, accounting or disputes. We use restricted access and private receipt links, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Anyone with your receipt link can access its certificate and newsletter controls, so do not share it publicly.

Earlier preview accounts

Earlier Reader and registry preview accounts used Sign in with ChatGPT. Those records include account identity, email, signup date and acknowledgment. New paid checkout and certificate access do not require a ChatGPT account.
